Welcome to the messy intersection of faith, family and business! Jesus, Savior of the world came directly into mess.
- a messy stable
- a messy relationship
- a messy pregnancy
- a messy nation under Roman control
- a messy stable and manger
- the mess continues..... and in the middle of this mess God declared "I bring you good news of great joy!!!"
WHAT's THE POINT?
1. You need a savior to save you of something
=> stop pretending you don't have a mess. Simply acknowledge it and you release grace for saving!
2. Jesus didn't avoid mess so don't you avoid it either...
=> Dont' just acknowledge there's a mess; jump right in knowing that He is with you in the middle of it
3. HOW we jump in is critical
A) Six step apology
B) 100% truth, 100% love, 100% humility
C) With a friend who will hold you to being your best self
4. Remember the covenant you have with Jesus = communion. Access the forgiveness, the covering, the comfort, the wisdom... all that you need through union with Christ
